The Knowledge Centre is an energy-efficient building for research, teaching and patient care at St. Olav's Hospital in Trondheim.
The Centre houses the hospital's auditorium (380 seats), main library and facilities for research and teaching. The clinical section covers areas of skin and infectious diseases, as well as pain center.
It is the first hospital building with passive house standard in Norway. Energy demand will be around 45 percent lower than the official requirement.
